The festival is a springboard for local, Fribourg and Swiss musicians, who have not only been invited to perform at the Jazz Parade since its inception, sometimes alongside big-name stars, but have subsequently been placed abroad by Jazz Parade organizers at renowned festivals and clubs (notably in Paris, Cuba and New Orleans).<\/p>\n<p>During the festival, the Jazz Parade organizes masterclasses, which attract a growing number of professional and amateur musicians from all over Switzerland every year. This year, two masterclasses will be held, on July 3 and 9 respectively, by folk guitarist Spencer Bohren and jazz saxophonist Scott Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more: <a
