They will also be tackling opera for the first time: <em>L'elisir d'amore<\/em> by Donizetti.<\/p>\n<p>But being an excellent musician, capable of mastering a demanding and virtuoso repertoire, is not enough for a musical career to take off, say the Music Camp organizers: \"in order to be able to take on a musical project, and stand out from the mass of talented young musicians, you also need to have a notion of financing and fundraising\".<br \/> The Verbier Festival has chosen to include this essential step in the learning process of its young participants, particularly with a view to training. \"Crowdfunding, with its playful counterparts and the possibility of making a contribution according to one's means, seemed to us to be the ideal method,\" says C\u00e2line Yamakawa, head of the music camp.<\/p>\n<p>The 56 young people taking part in the course, from 20 different countries, mobilized to raise funds on the Indiegogo crowdfunding site.
