A specialist in the Germanic repertoire, Jonathan Nott follows in the footsteps of the musical directors who led the OSR down the path of Haydn, Beethoven, Wagner, Bruckner and Mahler.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Nott will take up his post in January 2017, after an interim 2015-2016 season without a music director, which will leave a significant place for the younger generation of conductors.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Neeme J\u00e4rvi's successor at the helm of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande will be British conductor Jonathan Nott.
