At the pre-selection round, held in June, the official jury, chaired by Matthias Pintscher, selected three finalist scores from 67 entries submissions received from all over the world: <em>Nocturne III <\/em>by Mr Jaehyuck Choi (South Korea), <em>Bocca Chiusa<\/em> by Mr Yair Klartag (Israel) and <em>Prank<\/em> by Mr Hankyeol Yoon (South Korea).<\/p>\n<p>Their works will be premiered by soloists Fabio di C\u00e0sola, Ernesto Molinari and J\u00e9r\u00f4me Comte, accompanied by L'Orchestre de Chambre de Gen\u00e8ve, at a public final round on November 26, 2017. The winning work will then be imposed at the final round of the clarinet competition in 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Winners' Festival <br \/> <\/strong>As has been the tradition since 2013, from November 23 to December 3 the Geneva International Music Competition will be offering a Laureates' Festival, held in parallel with the Composition Prize. The program includes a series of concerts featuring laureates from the Geneva Competition and other international competitions, with a particular focus on singing.<\/p>\n<p>During this 2017 edition, some twenty artists from around the world will perform as soloists on 7 exceptional evenings at Victoria Hall, B\u00e2timent des Forces Motrices, Op\u00e9ra des Nations and Studio Ernest Ansermet. They will be accompanied by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, the HEM Orchestra and the Gli Angeli Ensemble.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Piano &amp; clarinet 2018 <br \/> <\/strong>The 73rd Geneva Competition is devoted to piano and clarinet and will take place from October 29 to November 14, 2018. The competition is open to all pianists and clarinetists born after November 8, 1988.
