With a genuine desire to create a multi-disciplinary performance, ESN took on the challenge of performing this score with thirty or so isolated musicians, while multiplying them, even though it requires four times as many musicians.<br \/> For 5 days in November, the musicians took it in turns to visit the Case \u00e0 Chocs in Neuch\u00e2tel to record themselves 1, 2, 3 or even 5 times in a row, under the instructions (and direction) of the musical director and sound engineer, accompanied by an interactive scenography designed by the Neuch\u00e2tel collective Supermafia.<br \/> Designed especially for the occasion, this screen-like scenic device reacts according to the instrumentalists, creating a different luminous dynamic for each sound played. A mosaic fresco of 91 musicians, representing the classical layout of an orchestra during a concert, was then virtually constructed, deconstructed and disturbed, giving rise to a timeless clip blending age-old orchestral heritage with contemporary, minimalist graphic art. <br \/> This video has been broadcast on ESN's YouTube channel since the first day of spring, Saturday March 20, 2021.
