Photo: Anna Domenigoni<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Il trio italo-svizzero Niton ha compiuto 10 anni questo ottobre, una decade di improvvisazione e sperimentazione per Luca Xelius Martegani (sintetizzatore analogico), El Toxyque alias Enrico Mangione (oggetti amplificati) e Zeno Gabaglio (violoncello elettrico). Dopo un primo album <em>Niton<\/em>, nel 2013, a documentare una selezione della \"drone night\" in cui il trio \u00e8 nato, e un secondo, <em>Tiresia<\/em>pubblicato nel 2015 sempre per il label svizzero Pulver und Asche, il materiale raccolto tra 2015 e 2020 in svariati contesti \u00e8 confluito nell'album <em>Cemento<\/em>uscito nel 2021 per la berlinese Shameless. L'idea del titolo \u00e8 contestuale, essendone state fatte le prime registrazioni in occasione del festival \"Chiedi alla polvere\" presso il cementificio ex-Saceba di Morbio Inferiore, ma anche concettuale: \"il cemento \u00e8 una sostanza dall'apparenza compatta e coesa, ma \u00e8 il risultato combinatorio di innumerevoli materiali, uniti attraverso un processo preciso e metodico,\" spiega il gruppo, \"e questi suoni accumulati durante cinque anni sono stati processati e mixati con l'intento di farli convivere fianco a fianco in un percorso d'ascolto ricco e dialettico.\"<\/p>\n<p>Per festeggiare l'anniversario della nascita del trio, la loro etichetta storica Pulver und Asche riprende il materiale di <em>Cemento<\/em>, re-immaginato e re-mixato in 3D, accompagnato da una edizione fisica della traccia <em>Maas.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 un bel viaggio musicale, una sontuosa tavolozza sonora, resa giubilatoriamente da un suono in 3D. Musica ricercata e ricca, fresca di un riuscito equilibrio tra astrazione e una costante accessibilit\u00e0 resa da una bella coerenza ritmica nella pulsazione e da larghe campiture in cui le armonie di fondo - dietro lo strato di ricerca nel concreto, nel campionamento e nella modificazione del segnale - restano spesso in orbita tonale.
