Insegna al Conservatorio di Sion, dove ha co-fondato l'ensemble di archi LE POCH (Petit Orchestre du Chablais), composto da una quindicina di giovani strumentisti.<\/p>\n<p><em>Val\u00e9rie Bernard, dal 2002 lei suona nell'ensemble a geometria variabile Contacordes, con la narratrice Claire Heuwekemeijer, la pianista Katja Gafner e l'arpista Julie Sicre...<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La narratrice utilizza esclusivamente la tradizione orale per inventare la trama, collegando storie di Paesi diversi, ad esempio la Cina o la Russia. Non solo parla il testo, ma lo canta, lo sussurra e lo intona, intrecciando la parola parlata con la musica. Possiamo parlare di racconti da camera, nel senso che si tratta di una vera e propria opera di musica da camera: la narratrice arriva con un tema, con le sue idee, e noi le discutiamo insieme. Ci ispiriamo alla storia per trovare la musica giusta, evitando ogni ridondanza. Non si tratta solo di illustrare: la musica continua la storia e a volte suggerisce un seguito diverso. Per fare questo, abbiamo a disposizione un'ampia gamma di musiche, dal barocco al contemporaneo (P\u00e4rt, Pesson, Schnittke). Di tanto in tanto utilizziamo anche effetti sonori, anche se cerchiamo di fare in modo che non distraggano troppo. Gli spettacoli, curati e strutturati nei minimi dettagli, vengono rappresentati in scuole, conservatori e teatri, ma anche in serate di narrazione, festival e feste private.<\/p>\n<p><em>L'ensemble ha anche creato un \"laboratorio di storie sonore\"...<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I bambini sono invitati a scegliere un oggetto sonoro. Insieme, ci chiediamo come definire un personaggio o un'emozione in musica, utilizzando i suoni che si possono trarre da questo oggetto o utilizzando il proprio corpo (slam, gioco della macchina infernale). Rivolto alle scuole primarie, questo \"laboratorio\" guida i bambini verso una maggiore apertura all'ascolto e un'accresciuta curiosit\u00e0 attraverso la loro creativit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p><em>Il libro-CD \"Nom de Bleu\" di Contacordes sar\u00e0 pubblicato da Drosophile il 2 e 3 maggio 2013 in occasione del Salon du Livre...<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Culmine di quattro anni di lavoro, racconta la storia della ricerca del nome di battesimo da parte di una ragazzina. Per la registrazione non abbiamo scelto l'acustica dello studio, ma quella eccezionale della cappella di Epalinges, mentre il libro serigrafato sar\u00e0 illustrato da Anne Wilsdorf. Un altro CD sar\u00e0 pubblicato in autunno da VDE-Gallo con il titolo Igapo - Racine d'eau, con un ensemble di cui faccio parte anche io, l'MV4tet, che esegue opere della sua pianista, Val\u00e9rie Mercier, scritte in uno stile a met\u00e0 tra il classico e il jazz, con spazio per l'improvvisazione.<\/p>\n<p><em>Da quando il Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de l'Oriental di Vevey produce i suoi spettacoli fuori dalle sue mura a causa di lavori di restauro, l'ensemble CH.AU - di cui lei \u00e8 membro fondatore - \u00e8 diventato un ensemble nomade...<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 un'ottima occasione per incontrare altri pubblici, in luoghi insoliti come bistrot e club. Dopo aver lavorato su opere all'incrocio tra musica accademica e popolare (con lavori di Crumb, Harrison o Riley, per esempio), stiamo preparando <em>Malleus Maleficarium<\/em> con i compositori Dragos Tara e John Menoud. Questo progetto, che verr\u00e0 eseguito dal 10 al 13 aprile, \u00e8 dedicato alla caccia alle streghe a Vevey nel XV secolo.<\/p>\n<p><a
