Gi\u00e0 negli anni '70, il nostro organista-viaggiatore per eccellenza part\u00ec per il Messico con Claude Mar\u00e9chaux, il suo ingegnere del suono preferito, entrambi carichi di registratori e nastri magnetici, cos\u00ec delicati... E, una volta arrivati, si presentarono diversi ostacoli pratici. Tuttavia, queste registrazioni pionieristiche (pubblicate da VDE su LP, cassetta e ora su tre CD) rimangono un punto di riferimento nel campo degli strumenti storici messicani.<\/p>\n<p>Circa quarant'anni dopo, nelle isole sparse delle Filippine, Phil\u00e9as continua il suo viaggio con il suo fedele tecnico del suono. Sebbene l'attrezzatura digitale sia pi\u00f9 leggera e il team familiare di \"assistenti\" pi\u00f9 numeroso, la sfida rimane quella di superare le innumerevoli difficolt\u00e0 sul posto. A Las Pi\u00f1as, per esempio, abbiamo dovuto lavorare tutta la notte, soffrendo di stanchezza e persino di vari disturbi, e in mezzo al rumore assordante del traffico. Per citare Guy Bovet, abbiamo dovuto \"scacciare i cani, tenere lontani i chiacchieroni e i curiosi e pregare la polizia di fermare il traffico per qualche minuto\" prima di poter prendere l'organo di bamb\u00f9.<\/p>\n<p>Questo magnifico cofanetto, <em>Organi storici delle Filippine <\/em>(4 CD, disponibili separatamente), permette di scoprire gli organi di influenza spagnola di Bacong, San Agustin Intramuros a Manila, Loay, Loboc e Baclayon sull'isola di Bohol, o l'organo di bamb\u00f9 di Las Pi\u00f1as. Grazie alle impressionanti registrazioni sonore autentiche, la diversit\u00e0 delle registrazioni, in un'ampia gamma di acustiche, viene messa in evidenza, facendo venire voglia di consultare i libretti. Ci sono fotografie, scattate all'interno e all'esterno delle chiese da Claude Mar\u00e9chaux, e testi di Guy Bovet, che descrive con la sua leggendaria penna l'origine delle vecchie pipe, progettate da Padre Diego Cera (1762-1832), cos\u00ec come la fabbrica, che porta ancora il nome di questa figura religiosa. Infine, leggiamo le origini della scelta musicale dell'esecutore e la composizione di ciascuno dei sei strumenti.<\/p>\n<p>Quale modo migliore per esplorare questi pezzi evocativi di ispirazione spagnola se non a piccole dosi, come ad esempio <em>Lo Ballo dell'Intorcia, La vida \u00e9s un fandango, Batalla de sexto tono<\/em> o anche, <em>Opera di ottavo tono Timbales<\/em>cos\u00ec come il<em>Omaggio alle Filippine<\/em> (improvvisazione di Guy Bovet). La nostra guida \u00e8 cos\u00ec imprevedibile, spontanea e stuzzicante! Si diletta con le chamades da far rizzare i capelli e i flauti ondulati - che sembrano arpe di vetro - i timpani \"trillanti\" e i pajaritos - uccelli artificiali che si confondono perfettamente con quelli veri, a volte confondendosi con le grida dei bambini che giocano fuori. Quattro ore di pura gioia!<\/p>\n<p>No! Il CD non \u00e8 pronto a morire.
