Foto: Monique Bernaz<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Intorno al 1820, la compositrice e pianista svizzera Caroline Boissier-Butini scrisse il suo <em>Sonatine 1a dedicate alla signorina Val\u00e9rie Boissier<\/em>. Con sei concerti e tre sonate per pianoforte al suo attivo, oltre a numerosi pezzi per vari ensemble di musica da camera, questa esperta musicista rivolse la sua attenzione alla figlia Val\u00e9rie (1813-1893, la futura riformatrice sociale e scrittrice Madame de Gasparin), alla cui educazione musicale e pianistica provvide da sola. Nel 1831 e 1832, Val\u00e9rie complet\u00f2 la sua formazione prendendo lezioni di esecuzione con Franz Liszt. All'et\u00e0 di cinque anni, la bambina suonava gi\u00e0 il pianoforte. Sappiamo che la madre scrisse una serie di \"esercizi\" per lo strumento. Tuttavia, la Sonatina dedicata alla figlia \u00e8 l'unico brano pedagogico che sia stato ritrovato in un manoscritto autografo. Chiaramente destinata ad allenare l'espressione di alcuni giri di frase pianistici, \u00e8 una sonatina nel senso mozartiano di \"sonata breve e facile per i principianti\". La sua lunghezza di 42 battute corrisponde ai brevi pezzi che Johann Nepomuk Hummel pubblic\u00f2 nel 1827 nel suo metodo intitolato <em>Ausf\u00fchrliche theoretisch-practische Anweisung zum Piano-Forte-Spiel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Il brano \u00e8 stato pubblicato da M\u00fcller &amp; Schade, su iniziativa dell'Associazione Caroline Boissier-Butini, il cui scopo \u00e8 quello di arricchire il repertorio didattico con un brano pre-romantico di un compositore svizzero. Per quanto ne sappiamo, la Sonatine 1a dedicata a Mlle Val\u00e9rie Boissier \u00e8 uno dei primi esercizi di agilit\u00e0 per pianoforte di un compositore svizzero, e uno dei primi a essere pubblicato. La partitura \u00e8 accompagnata da un'introduzione che presenta le due protagoniste - madre e figlia - e da una relazione sull'edizione critica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<dl
