Vestiti con abiti a tre pezzi d'altri tempi, questi signori parleranno alla vostra tenera anima delle bellezze della patria, dei benefici del vino o di fanciulle che evocano un passato lontano. Se queste sono le vostre parole, probabilmente \u00e8 perch\u00e9 avete perso un treno, dato che la stragrande maggioranza dei cori maschili \u00e8 ormai lontana dal M\u00e4nnerchor di Steffisburg malignamente deriso da Gilles. Se, tuttavia, persistete nelle vostre opinioni, questa registrazione vi far\u00e0 senz'altro cambiare idea.<\/p>\n<p>Pochi cori sono riconoscibili come i M\u00e4nnerstimmen Basel. Indossando mutande e bretelle, il loro aspetto li distingue immediatamente. \u00c8 ben lontano dal completo a tre pezzi di cui si parlava prima. Quella \u00e8 la bottiglia. Per dessert, l'unica opera del repertorio tradizionale dei cori maschili della Svizzera occidentale: <em>Terra del Giura<\/em> di Paul Miche!<\/p>\n<p>Come la magnifica foto di copertina, queste composizioni ci portano in paesaggi ghiacciati. La fiamma che emana dai M\u00e4nnerstimmen Basel, animata dal respiro di Oliver Rudin, ci scalda il cuore. Un filo conduttore: l'inondazione della Madeleine a Basilea nel 1480. I M\u00e4nnerstimmen emanano un'energia incredibile, sia nella loro potenza che nella loro infinita dolcezza. La proiezione vocale \u00e8 chiara, con un desiderio di chiarezza e una totale assenza di vibrato. Il risultato \u00e8 una purezza armonica che non viene mai meno.<\/p>\n<p>La metafora dei paesaggi ghiacciati unita al calore della performance crea un'esperienza sensoriale intensa e contrastante, evocando una gamma di emozioni, dalla freddezza e dalla solitudine al calore e alla connessione emotiva.
