Foto: DR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Il canto sibillino \u00e8 una tradizione liturgica medievale con profonde radici nelle culture cristiane del Mediterraneo, in particolare in Catalogna, nelle Isole Baleari e in Sardegna. Durante i primi secoli del cristianesimo, alcune profezie sibilline furono incorporate nella tradizione cristiana, spesso interpretate come predizioni della venuta di Cristo e del Giudizio Universale. I testi profetici furono adattati e cristianizzati, dando origine a una tradizione liturgica di tipo gregoriano caratterizzata da un canto monodico, spesso solenne e commovente, cantato in volgare o in latino. Nel 20<sup>e<\/sup> Nel XX secolo si \u00e8 assistito a una rinascita dell'interesse per questa tradizione, con sforzi per ripristinare e promuovere il canto sibillino in altre regioni. Nel 2010, l'UNESCO ha inserito il canto sibillino di Maiorca nella lista del patrimonio culturale immateriale del mondo.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusione, il Canto sibillino \u00e8 un esempio affascinante di come gli elementi di profezia, apocalisse e liturgia possano intrecciarsi per creare una tradizione culturale ricca e duratura, che riflette le preoccupazioni escatologiche e le speranze spirituali dell'umanit\u00e0 attraverso i secoli.<\/p>\n<p>Una registrazione davvero eccezionale ci permette di vivere appieno questa tradizione, grazie all'ensemble Hirundo Maris e alla sua leader Arianna Savall, cantante e arpista specializzata nell'arpa storica, con la partecipazione di Petter Udland Johansen e dell'Ensemble Vocal de Saint-Maurice, diretto da Charles Barbier. L'incredibile variet\u00e0 di suoni e strumenti che questo repertorio ci permette di riscoprire ci conduce in un viaggio musicale tra Medioevo e Rinascimento, dalla Catalogna alla Norvegia.<\/p>\n<p>Il soprano di Arianna Savall ci solleva con il suo magnifico timbro cristallino, mentre il tenore Petter Udland Johansen prende per mano l'ascoltatore e lo conduce attraverso i paesaggi nordici di cui ci parla cos\u00ec meravigliosamente. Quanto all'Ensemble Vocal de Saint-Maurice, ha fatto centro con la purezza della sua intonazione e la perfetta fusione vocale che emana.
