Ma pu\u00f2 anche essere una scoperta, una rivelazione. <em>Scheherazade<\/em>Il nuovo lavoro della pianista iraniana di Losanna Layla Ramezan \u00e8 uno di questi... e anche bello! Una rivelazione dell'insospettabile vigore della musica cosiddetta \"colta\" nella terra dei poeti e degli eredi del grande Dario, portata in vita da uno strumento che non \u00e8 solo un capolavoro, ma anche una fonte di ispirazione. <em>a priori<\/em> incompatibile con la finezza microtonale e gli altri sapori modali della secolare tradizione persiana, come il pianoforte. <em>Scheherazade<\/em> \u00e8 un ambizioso affresco in nove parti di Alireza Mashayekhi (* 1940), uno dei pionieri della musica moderna iraniana, intervallato da respiri poetici tratti dalla sua stessa penna. Un'opera che ti travolge - che ti prende tanto quanto ti rasserena - e che costituisce \"l'apice del viaggio filosofico e spirituale del compositore attraverso una teoria polifonica completa sviluppata da lui stesso e strutturata sulla base dell'architettura monofonica della musica persiana\", come spiega lui stesso sulla copertina.<\/p>\n<p>Questa instabilit\u00e0, tipica del viaggio, \u00e8 il riflesso del percorso di Alireza Mashayekhi, iniziato a Teheran e proseguito a Vienna, dove Hanns Jelinek ha aperto mille e una porta alla musica occidentale del XX secolo.<sup>e<\/sup> Si \u00e8 poi trasferito a Utrecht, dove ha lavorato per quindici anni con l'Istituto di Sonologia, prima di tornare in Iran all'inizio degli anni Novanta per gettare le basi di gruppi \"locali\" destinati a portare sul palcoscenico una nuova generazione di creatori iraniani disinibiti, ovvero in grado di fondere le eredit\u00e0 occidentali e persiane senza tradirle. Ma questo viaggio \u00e8 anche quello di Layla Ramezan, pianista iraniana partita per perfezionare la sua arte a Parigi e poi a Losanna (dove ha studiato con Christian Favre e Marc Pantillon all'HEMU), e che oggi appare estremamente orgogliosa di offrire alle orecchie occidentali un po' del suo Oriente, Sui tasti di un pianoforte (che spesso non ci rendiamo conto essere fiorente in Iran da quasi due secoli), accompagnata dalle improvvisazioni di zarb e santur di Keyvan Chemirani e dalla narrazione di suo padre, Djamchid Chemirani, come se venisse dalle profondit\u00e0 del tempo.
