New section: Musical training in Switzerland
Teaching, choirs, early music education, talent development and professional training: music education in Switzerland is highly diversified. The Swiss Association of Music Schools (ASEM) and the Conference of Swiss Universities of Music present the main players and target audiences under the common label «Music Education in Switzerland».
The Swiss Association of Music Schools ASEM is the umbrella organization for local and regional music schools in Switzerland. It represents the 374 music schools affiliated to the cantonal associations. The Conference of Swiss Music Schools (CHEMS) is made up of the directors of the 7 Swiss music schools.
For the current edition, the texts are dedicated to the little ones. Editor Anicia Kohler has visited a music and speech awareness course with several specialist teachers, and Dr. Mary Brice presents training at the Geneva School of Music, a collaboration with the Institut Jacques-Dalcroze.
